Chromate Conversion Coatings Aluminum - Luster-On 224L A liquid material which produces a chromate conversion coating on aluminum and aluminum alloys. Suitable for both wrought and cast aluminum alloys. 224L may be applied by spray or immersion to produce clear or yellow coating with excellent corrosion protection at economical cost. 224L meets the requirements under Mil-C-81706. Cadmium & Zinc - Utility K Easy to use concentrated liquid product which produces bright attractive finishes on zinc and cadmium plate and zinc based die castings. Clear bright to slight bluish films are formed which resist staining, discoloration, and corrosion. Highly protective iridescent films at low concentrations. Utility 66A & B A two part liquid chromate which produces a heavy deep olive drab coating on zinc or cadmium plate and zinc die castings. Provides the maximum in protection. Utility 18 & 19 A two part liquid chromate product that forms a lustrous black surface on zinc and cadmium plate. A single dip process which is operated at room temperature. The coating produced will resist staining, tarnishing, and white corrosion. Chromate Plus A water soluble product which after application to yellow chromated surfaces, increases the abrasion and corrosion resistance of the yellow chromated film. Zinc Only - Utility 260A A concentrated liquid product which brightens and passivates zinc plated parts while providing a distinct bluish hue. Offers extremely economical make-up operating cost. Tri-Blue An extraordinary bright chromate for zinc plated surfaces; trivalent chrome only, no hexavalent chrome, simplified waste treatment. Corrosion protection that meets most specifications for hexavalent blue brights. Extra long life. Bright uniform blue produced by steady state chemistry which assures repeatable day to day results. |
